The $10,000 Labor Day Holiday Raffle Offiicial Contest Rules

|
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES: By participating, you agree that:
- These Official Contest Rules may not be waived, modified, or supplemented except
by the Comprehensive Learning Center. No modification of these official contest
rules shall be enforceable unless made by the Comprehensive Learning Center.
- The raffle drawing shall be held at The Comprehensive Learning Center in
Southampton, PA on Thursday, August 28, 2008. All tickets must be received by
the drawing date to be eligible for the drawing.
- Each ticket will be entered separately in the drawing. Each ticket is a separate and
equal chance to win the $10,000.00 cash prize.
- Winner has 10 days to claim the $10,000.00 cash prize or forfeits all claims thereto.
Please contact The Comprehensive Learning Center at 215-322-7852 to arrange
pickup of the prize.
- When an order is placed through the mail, the Internet or over the phone, a raffle
ticket will be completed by filling in the name, address, and phone number, and
dropped in the raffle barrel. The stub will then be mailed to the purchaser. At the
drawing, the winner will be contacted based on the name and information on the
ticket. To claim the $10,000.00 cash prize, the winner must present a photo ID. The
ticket stub need not be present. However, the stubs will be kept on file and purchasers
can call 215-598-8175 or email info@ajfoundation.org to check when their order was
processed and obtain their ticket number if so desired.
- Winner notification will be made by telephone and U.S. mail.
- Successive alternate backup winners will be drawn, but not announced, and held by
The Comprehensive Learning Center in case the first winner does not claim the
$10,000.00 cash prize in 10 days or is otherwise ineligible.
- Participant must be at least 18 years old.
- The Comprehensive Learning Center’s liability for any claim related to this raffle
shall be limited to refund of ticket price to participants.
- Winner agrees to the use of his/her name for publicity purposes by The
Comprehensive Learning Center.
- The Comprehensive Learning Center reserves the right to cancel this contest at any
time, in which event its liability is limited to refund of ticket prices to participants.
- Ticket sales to The Comprehensive Learning Center’s immediate families are
prohibited. Immediate family includes parents and siblings of the children who attend
The Comprehensive Learning Center.
- Any person who engages in conduct designed to corrupt the outcome of a charitable
gaming activity with the purpose to defraud, or knowing that he is facilitating a fraud,
is guilty of a Class D felony.
- This contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, and is void where
prohibited.
- THE IRS REQUIRES THAT THE COMPREHENSIVE LEARNING CENTER
(CLC) WITHHOLD FEDERAL INCOME TAX ON THE VALUE OF THE
PRIZE. CLC WILL WITHHOLD TAX FROM THE WINNINGS AT A 28%
WITHHOLDING RATE AND REMIT SAME TO THE IRS. IN 2009, CLC
WILL FURNISH THE WINNER A 2008 FORM W-2G STATING THE
VALUE OF THE PRIZE AND THE FEDERAL INCOME TAX WITHHELD ON THE PRIZE
- Winner must supply The Comprehensive Learning Center with his/her social security
number on a W-9 Form provided by The Comprehensive Learning Center upon receipt of the prize.
- All proceeds benefit The Comprehensive Learning Center, a private non-profit school
serving children with autism: Bucks County Small Games of Chance License
