AJ10K Best "Dam" Run For Autism 2010
The AJ Foundation held its’ Annual AJ10K/5K Best “Dam” Run For Autism at Peace Valley Park in Chalfont on May 22, 2010. We were so fortunate to have beautiful weather again. We were very excited about the outcome and seeing many familiar faces from the previous races.
Our 10K boasted a multitude of serious athletes but ultimately Mike Carriglitto, age 34, came in at 34:21 as our overall male winner. Sheila Regan, age 39, was our overall female winner with a time of 42:57. Our 5K winners included Jimmy Boligtz, age 14, our overall male winner, with a time of 19:17 and his sister, Katie Boligtz, age 17, our overall female winner, with a time of 20:48. Also, an amazing run by 10 year old, Aidan Feeney, in our 5K Run with a time of 22:52. Congratulations to all our runners!!!!
This year many of our students from The Comprehensive Learning Center participated in our One Mile Fun Run. Several of our older students, Connor Feeney, Dan Lehner, AJ Corless and Ivy Coyle took on the 5K. We are so proud of their efforts!!! Congratulations to AJ Corless, 20, for placing 2nd in his age group in the 5K.
The day was a wonderful success having raised over $8,600.00!!! As always, we must thank all our participants: runners, walkers, family and friends for showing us continued love and support. A special thank you to our timers from Pretzel City Sports and to Nanette Kardaszeski for the wonderful pictures.
